INTJ

A Freelancing for Good freelancer

I love connecting with people for a common mission that supports the public good.  People would describe me as engaged, enthusiastic, and congenial, and I am passionate about global experiences, effective and efficient operations, people development, and equitable access to education.

  • I share life with an incredible husband passionate about public health, two adaptable and fun daughters, and a lazy Siberian Husky.

  • I get excited about experiencing new places, cultures, food, and stories, traveling to over 40 countries and always planning my next trip.

  • I execute tasks and then take time to rest.

  • I love reading books that make me imagine and think, and watching media that makes me feel.

  • I want to get to know people, and learn both what excites them and brings them peace.

My

Story

Born in Indonesia, my family immigrated to the United States when I was 2 when my dad won a scholarship to study at the University of Alabama. I know firsthand how education and economic opportunities can change the trajectory of an entire family. Growing up in the American south was quite the change for our family, but one we embraced.

I attended the University of Tennessee where I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and continued at the University of Memphis, earning my MBA while working full-time at FedEx. I then moved to Richmond serving students at the Virginia Community College System. The desire to move closer to family with 2 young children brought us to Chattanooga, where I was determined to make an impact on educational equity by being part of the Public Education Foundation.

The pull of the world began to grow and our family moved to Leiden, Netherlands.  Being a global citizen and having a chance to be part of organizations and causes that are doing good in the world led me to create Sarasintan Solutions in 2025. Throughout my life, the work that has brought me the most meaning and joy is connecting authentically with people and collaborating on a mission to better the world in different capacities.
